Computing the Brain

In his project, Johannes Bruder is interested in the history and the making of the neuroscientific gaze in imaging neuroscience. He analyses epistemic practices in the visualisation of experimentally acquired data-sets from a sociology of science perspective. Methodologically, he is concentrating on ethnographic research in brain imaging laboratories to be able to contextualise practices in experimental research and its results.
